Charitable giving to Granite House
provides our consumers with resources that they otherwise couldn’t
access. While Granite House does bill Medicaid, Medicare, and
private insurance companies for services provided and does
apply for various grant opportunities, these funding sources
may not cover the entire cost to provide our services.
Many of our consumers are on an extremely limited income due
to various disabilities. They are often unable to pay for basic
needs. These needs may include but are not limited to:
emergency food supplies, personal hygiene items, winter clothing
and even dental care for patients who do not have insurance
or have an insurance policy that does not allow for dental
care.
There are several ways in which you can help Granite House
consumers right here in Carroll County by making a charitable
contribution. We are currently taking donations for the
following funds:
General fund that provides
for general operating expenses including, but
not limited to, enhanced programming, social
recreation, direct care services and general
upkeep of buildings and properties.
| Consumer Personal Needs Fund |
| A fund that provides various personal items for
consumers receiving services through our Housing
and Day Programs.
| We accept donations of household items such as kitchenware and linens. |

In addition to on-line giving, contributions in the form of
checks, money or money orders can be mailed directly to:
