Group Practice
Our treatment component provides a variety of psychiatric and therapy services for clients ages 16 and older based on individualized plans developed with each consumer.  For services, contact Kate at 410-751-5970.

Granite Hall
Site-based rehabilitation for individuals with severe or long-term illness provides structure and skills training based on plans developed with each individual served.  For services, contact Rita at 410-876-3007 ext 122.

  • Rehabilitation assessment
  • Care management: planning, linking, monitoring services
  • Skills training: performed in groups and with individual to ensure successful integration into the community
  • Support: peer support, staff intervention and resource development to assist individuals in adapting to community life
  • Medication administration and monitoring
  • Illness education and crisis support
  • Application for entitlement

Community Support Team
Our community-based component meets individuals where they live, work
or socialize in the community to provide skills training and support based on
an individualized plan.  For services, contact Rita at 410-876-3007 ext 122.

  • Offer services in Granite House apartments or in the consumer’s home
  • Collaborate to foster skills development and design the necessary supports for individuals to adapt successfully to their communities
  • Emphasize application of “real world” skills, including meal preparation, budgeting and medication monitoring
  • Assist consumer in developing supports

Vocational Pathways
Supported employment services assist consumers in assessing vocational needs, finding, getting and keeping jobs. For services, contact Stacy at 410-876-3007 ext 142.

Family Psycho-education

A program designed to assist families in working through feelings, overcoming obstacles, and in coping with family members diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizo-affective disorder that are in the public mental health system or are uninsured.  For more information, contact Jackie 410-876-3007 x135.   

Getting Connected Family Resource Center

The Get Connected Family Resource Center is a referral center for families with children who have developmental disabilities, mental health issues, substance abuse issues, interpersonal violence experiences or other concerns. This is a free program for any Carroll County family and is funded through the Carroll County Local Management Board. For more information on accessing services, go to www.getconnectedcc.org

Service Locations
Our major service location is on Green Street in Westminster. Our Community Support Team and Vocational Services are provided where they are needed in the community, including homes, work, and in Granite House operated apartments.

What Do We Charge?

Most Granite House services are covered by insurance. We participate in numerous insurance plans, including most major private insurers, Medical Assistance and Medicare.

Individuals not covered by insurance have the option to pay out of pocket for services and may also apply for various state subsidized services.
